A.I. Research & Development at NeuroGadgets Inc.

NeuroGadgets Inc.'s General Learning Algorithm (GLA, unofficial working name) is a system of real-time artificial intelligence designed to learn from and to adapt to virtually any kind of environment. It employs artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, and biologically inspired regulatory strategies in order to learn from and to represent its environment. The GLA is modular, and will be configurable in a variety of ways in order to fit a desired application, whether fully contained within a single computer, distributed amongst a network of computers, or free-ranging as one or more real or virtual autonomous robots. A full range of sensory inputs and of expressive outputs are and can be implemented, providing a rich and sophisticated interface between the environment and the GLA's internal representations of that environment.
